Over the years, my fascination has grown with foxes. I have become concerned with people killing these creatures for fur or just because they don't like them.
Sitting in a bedroom in 2023, I noticed two foxes playing in our garden, which I captured on Camera. It made me reminisce about when I was a child watching cubs playing with a ball in the garden and watching their happiness as I played games with my brother. It enabled me to make parallel observations between the traits of an animal and a human.
This painting captures their delight, playing in the grass with no worries. This is part of a series of paintings simply called Urban Foxes not, Wild
